Troy Braden

September 12, 1965 - August 8, 2021

Troy Braden, 55, of Oskaloosa died Sunday, August 8, 2021, at his home in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He was born September 12, 1965, in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Duaine and Sharon (Allgood) Braden. Troy graduated from Oskaloosa High School with the class of 1983 and then went to Kirkwood for welding. Following his graduation from Kirkwood Troy worked as a union pipefitter and welder for various places all over the Midwest. Troy enjoyed fishing, hunting, arrowhead and mushroom hunting. Troy is survived by his children: sons, Tyler (Samantha) Hoskins of Montezuma, and Austin Braden of Oskaloosa, daughters, Kassidy Braden of Cedar Rapids and Morgan and Madison Braden of Oskaloosa, 5 grandchildren, Adalyn, Ezra, Flynn, Axel and Ava, his parents, Duaine and Sharon Braden of Oskaloosa, brothers: Todd (Mona) Braden and Trevern Braden of Oskaloosa, a sister: Traci Braden of Oskaloosa, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. As was his wish, Troy will be cremated, and no services are planned at this time. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.
