Timothy Donald Bannister

December 9, 1977 - May 24, 2022

Timothy D. Bannister, 44, long time resident of Eddyville Iowa and surrounding areas, who recently resided in West Union, SC…. passed away on Tuesday, May 24th 2022. He was born on December 9, 1977, in Denison, Iowa, the son of Penny Linville. He attended Eddyville high school and graduated with the class of 1996. On October 21, 2017, he was united in marriage to Jessica Marie Schnoebelen. Tim most recently worked as an account manager for ACI, and formerly at 3M in Knoxville. He loved his wife, his children and his family, above all else. He was known for his great big heart, his generosity, his Donald Duck impersonation, his love for the Iowa Hawkeyes, and the Dallas Cowboys. Tim enjoyed being outdoors in nature, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and reading novels by Stephen King. He was a movie buff and enjoyed all movies especially Nightmare Before Christmas, which was clear by the sleeve tattoo he displayed of the characters. To his family and to all those that knew him, he was a hero in life, and a hero in death, his last selfless act as an organ donor. Tim is survived by his wife, Jessica Marie Bannister; his children: Tristin M. Bannister, Elizabeth Bannister-Hughes, Trinity W. Bannister; his mother, Penny (Kenny) Linville; his siblings: Jaun Paul (Michelle) Bannister and their children, Jakob, Keygan, Klayton, Kylynne, Ashton, and Owyn; Candius J. Bannister and her son Joey; Cody (Holley) VanderBeek and their children, Blade (his daughter Blakeley), Madisen, Gracey, and Piper. He is also survived by his wife’s parents, Kevin and Letha Schnoebelen, and their son Nathan, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leonard W. Hildenbrand; two uncles, Michael L Hildenbrand, and Leonard Williams; a cousin, Stacy A. Olson; his wife’s grandparents: Kenneth M. Schnoebelen and Wilbur and Ruth VanderKraan. As was his wish, Tim‘s body will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a date to be determined. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. A Memorial Fund has been set up in his name and donations for his wife and daughter may be made as follows: 1.
