Terry Rotzinger, 53, of Oskaloosa died Thursday, August 10, 2017, at the Pella Hospice Comfort House in Pella. He was born Friday, November 15, 1963, In Keota, Iowa, the son of Charles Ray Rotzinger and Gertrude Ann Squibb Rotzinger. He attended school in Keota, Iowa. Following school, Terry worked as a truck driver for various companies. First for his dad and uncle and then other places. He retired due to ill health in 2006. On February 4th, 2006, Terry was married to Lisa Cochran in Eddyville, Iowa. They later divorced. Terry enjoyed putting model trucks together and was very talented at drawing. His family includes his daughter: Raquela Rotzinger of Albia, two sons: Derek Rotzinger and Isaac Rotzinger both of Oskaloosa, a sister: Connie (Rotzinger) Thomas of Afton, a brother: Tony Rotzinger of Oskaloosa and his former wife and close friend Lisa Cochran, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 14, 2017, at 1:30 pm in the Woods Cemetery near Lacey, Iowa. Visitation with the family present will begin Monday, August 14, 2017, at 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in the Bates Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the family.
